Danny Carrasco
Danny is a Hollywood local who was born and raised in Los Angeles. From a very young age, living in this metropolis inspired him to pursue a creative career focusing on fashion, hair, and makeup.

As he grew into his teens, so did his passion for the beauty industry. He started school in 2005 and completed his classes with ease. Danny dedicated himself to learning and retaining as much as he could, so that he may begin working in a salon and further his knowledge with hands-on experience. In 2007, he found Chaz Dean Studio and immediately knew that this place would be a perfect fit for his ambition, his drive, his trend-setting style, and witty personality. He did not hesitate to jump at the opportunity to assist Chaz Dean himself, where he knew he would have the greatest potential to learn and grow as a stylist.

He assisted Chaz Dean for three years, taking full advantage of the learning opportunity. He developed new techniques and mastered his craft during his time spent as an assistant. However, his experience has gone beyond the salon as he has helped style models on location for numerous high fashion runway shows, models for QVC broadcasts, and multiple celebrities for the perfect red carpet look. Danny was part of the team that helped launch WEN® on QVC in the UK, Germany, and Japan. He has spent time traveling through Europe while working next to Chaz Dean, picking up new techniques and inspiration along the way.

His work, in and outside of the studio, has given him a new outlook on the means of styling and coloring hair, bringing a deeper understanding of the importance of keeping hair healthy and radiant. Because of this, he does not use bleach, and colors hair in the healthiest way possible, always aiming to rejuvenate and retain the health and integrity of each of his clients’ hair.

He has a deep passion for both cut and color, and he certainly loves a challenge. He thrives when doing color corrections and takes pride in educating the client on how to maintain the healthiest hair and most vibrant color possible. Taking inspiration from his travels around the globe, and his current hometown of Hollywood, Danny can create anything from classic vintage styles to the most up-to-date current trends. With his easy-going personality, infectious laugh and immaculate fashion sense, he will not only be your stylist, but you will walk out of the salon with a new friend.

Danny believes that you can never stop improving and continues his learning process through his career. He currently specializes in Color (hilites and color correction), long hair and layers. He is always striving for excellence and perfection of his art and looks forward to mastering his craft for many years to come.

As a kid growing up in Kansas I idolized 80’s rock bands such as Motley Crue and Guns-n-Roses, not just for their rowdy music but also for their trademark hairstyles. So I’d spend hours in the bathroom using my mom’s hot tools and products in a vain attempt to imitate the iconic looks of Nikki Sixx and Axl Rose, managing only to achieve making a mess of my hair, the bathroom and getting in trouble with my mom.

During my teens and 20’s I was in a rock band of my own and was obsessed with flaunting provocative and edgy hairstyles that I’d look back on in my 30’s and 40’s and ask myself “What in the hell was I thinking?”

And while the styles I rock today may still be questionable I assure my guests that the only questions they’ll get about their crowning glory is “Where’d you get it done? It looks f’ing awesome!”

Having a head of stubborn hair my whole life I understand the power of a good hair day and the defeat of a bad one. Hair is our identity, our signature and an expression of ourselves. So it’s because of this that I go above and beyond for each guest that sits in my chair.

And while I enjoy doing contemporary cuts and colors I really love doing styles with attitude and edge like Pixies, Mullets, Shags, Mohawks and Wolf cuts.

So whether you’re looking for a trim or a transformation, I invite you to have a seat in my chair and together we’ll come up with something that’s aligned with your look and lifestyle that also promotes the health and integrity of your mane. Because I don’t want you to have a good hair day, I want you to have a good hair life.
