It all started in a salon
I was determined to get my foot in the door at my first salon, where I completed their hairstylist assistant program. Even as an assistant, I loved the real connection I was able to create with clients and decided to put my heart and soul into learning everything I possibly could to become a professional hairstylist. My goal was to then open my own salon where I would be able to share my holistic approach to healthy, gorgeous hair with all of my clients. No matter the client, it’s my ultimate goal to restore their hair and skin to their natural and radiant beauty.

Our Philosophy
Hair and skincare starts with the individual.
I preserve the health and integrity of both with nourishing products that are powered by botanicals.

As a stylist, I wanted to push the beauty world beyond the traditional, conventional approach. That’s why I created WEN Hair & Body Care, to offer a more holistic approach to hair, skin, and body care, reminding the world that the products we use on our bodies are just as important as what we put into our bodies.

My salon stays true to my personal beliefs. In May of 1993, I gave up lather and created a Cleansing Conditioner, the first-ever, universal 5-in-1 product that acted as a shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, and leave-in conditioner without damaging the hair. Though removing lather was a radical concept at the time, the Cleansing Conditioner quickly took off when my clients began to see the healthy, shiny hair they’ve always dreamed of having. My brand then took on a life of its own, bringing healthy, shiny hair to salons, celebrities, and daytime television.

Today, my brand spans over 700 products and has sold well over 200 million bottles in the last ten years, making it one of the largest brands on QVC.

My line has grown immensely and expanded into a full range of styling products, skincare, body care, lip care, fragrance, home, men’s, kids, and pet care.

Because of my success on the West Coast, I’m proud to announce the opening of my new New York City salon and boutique.

After many years of hard work and determination, nothing brings me more joy and satisfaction than helping people everywhere re-discover their own beauty, the healthy way.

The Puppies

Away from my chair and camera, I spend my time seeking balance. I’m in a constant state of ‘under construction,’ as transformation, creativity, and design are part of my everyday life. I find joy in the company of friends and my three dogs especially. As a proud dog parent, I wanted to help others give their pets the best, so I created a line just for them, too!
