United StatesWas hoping to be able to still run my fingers through my hair with this but it makes your hair all sticky. The smell is so plastic smelling. I had to mix the product with my fingers as the paste and water had separated when I opened it. Just seemed like a cheap overseas made product that was printed with the Wen name on it. I’m bummed about this product.
Hello Kyle, After reading your message, I actually went to the Salon to speak with Geno Chapman- Master Stylist, Educator with a Client Base consisting of many male clients. I know that he uses this product often, and I asked him to address your concerns; Geno does agree that The Wen Men Texture Paste does have a lot of energy towards control, and to make the paste more workable, Geno recommends to add a little treatment oil, styling creme, or even conditioner to the paste. He actually showed me the way to do this, adding a small amount of 613 dry oil to the texture paste- in the palm of his hand, mixing the two together, and it really make a world of difference in workability, and scent!
